College Golf: Snow gets second for OC at Shootout
Comments 0 | Recommend 0RUIDOSO, N.M. Odessa College freshman Greg Snow finished second at 202 to help Odessa College I win the two-day High Country Shootout at The Links at Sierra Blanca.
Odessa College's first team shot a 273 on Monday to finish at 830. The Wranglers shot 280 in both rounds on Sunday.
Midland College shot a final-round 280 and finished second at 838.
Snow, who had rounds of 66, 68, 68, tied for second with Scott Brace of South Mountain, Ariz.
Diego Castilla shot a final-round 78 to finish at 219 and lead OC II, which was seventh at 877. Freshman Zach Stokes, a Permian graduate, notched a 223 for the second score on the No. 2 team.
Odessa College, which finished second in the event last season, played 36 holes Sunday and 18 holes Monday on the par-72 course
