College volleyball: Lady Falcons win second straight
Comments 0 | Recommend 0PORTALES, N.M. A week ago, Eastern New Mexico sent the UTPB volleyball team reeling by sweeping the Lady Falcons in the Falcon Dome.
Now, UTPB has returned the favor.
The Lady Falcons knocked off Eastern New Mexico 25-22, 27-25, 19-25, 25-20 in the Greyhound Arena Tuesday night.
Alex Genung paced the Lady Falcon attack with 12 kills, Heather Sanchez added 11 and Molly Atnip stuffed a team-high four shots on the night.
UTPB (7-11, 1-1 Heartland Conference) returns to conference action against St. Mary’s (3-10, 2-0) at 7 p.m. in the Falcon Dome.
