Pro Hockey: Clark gets an extention

The Odessa Jackalopes announced Wednesday that the ownership group has extended the contract of General Manager Joe Clark through the 2012-2013 Central Hockey League season.
Clark, 49, was the first coach of the Jackalopes and spent 15 years coaching in North America and Europe and was a scout in the New York Islanders organization before returning to the Permian Basin two years ago.
During his tenure in the front office, the team has been honored as the CHL’s Most Improved Franchise (2008-09) and the Best in Community Relations the past two seasons.
