Central Hockey League: Jackalopes win shootout in Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI Mike Ramsay scored his second goal of the night in the shootout to lift the Odessa Jackalopes to a 5-4 victory Friday night over the Corpus Christi IceRays at American Bank Center in Corpus Christi.

Goaltender Joel Martin made 48 saves on the night for the Jackalopes, who improved to 5-1-1 overall and took over first place in the Central Hockey League’s Southern Conference.

Philippe Plante, Sebastien Thinel and Kenny Bernard also scored for Odessa, while Jereme Tendler had a hat trick for the IceRays in defeat.
