INDOOR FOOTBALL: Roughnecks add Broussard to staff

The West Texas Roughnecks announced Monday that Kirk Broussard has been named the team’s assistant general manager and defensive coordinator.

Broussard was an NFL Coaching Intern last season with the Minnesota Vikings, along with serving as the Director of Player Personnel for the Columbus Lions of the Southern Indoor Football League.

In 2008, Broussard was the offensive coordinator for the Mississippi Mudcats of the AIFA. The Mudcats were coached by Brian Brents, the current West Texas Roughnecks head coach.
