Central Hockey League: Jackalopes pick up another victory in Arizona

PRESCOTT VALLEY, ARIZ. The Odessa Jackalopes held on for a 5-4 victory over the Arizona Sundogs in a game marred by 23 penalties, including a game misconduct on Arizona’s Mike Nesdill.

The Jackalopes (30-6-3) took the lead for good with 6:17 left in the second period when Sebastien Thinel scored a 5-on-3 power play goal. Collin Circelli scored on a power play goal less than two minutes later to push the score to 3-1.

Also scoring for Odessa were Kenny Bernard, Kory Karlander and Mike Lesperance.

The Jacks are scheduled to travel to Hidalgo to face Rio Grande Valley (17-16-4) at 7:35 p.m. Wednesday.
