Chelbee Davis, 21, talks to emergency personnel at the scene of an accident Tuesday that sent 9-year-old Tyler Palmour to the hospital with serious injuries. Cpl. Sherrie Carruth said Palmour was traveling north on his bike on Laurel Avenue on the wrong side of the road and collided with a 2001 Ford Focus driven by Davis traveling east on Boulder Avenue. Davis was traveling with her young daughter, and the two were not harmed. Carruth added that there are no pending charges.

Eugene Byrd, 79, walks away with his wife, Glenda Byrd, from his car after speaking to Odessa Police who were investigating the accident involving his vehicle and an Aries Well Services truck Monday at the intersection of East University Boulevard and Loop 338. Officer William Gaut said three people riding in the Aries Well Services truck were transported to Medical Center Hospital. Eugene Byrd said he was sore in his chest but fine. Glenda Byrd was not present during the wreck.
