Tina Arons

Tina Arons grew up in the hill country on a ranch in San Saba, Texas.

After high school, she attended Texas Tech University to earn a degree in journalism. During college she interned at The Lubbock-Avalanche Journal and worked as a writer and features editor at the student newspaper, The Daily Toreador.

After graduating college in May 2009, she moved to Odessa and began a summer internship with The Odessa American. At the end of the summer, Arons completed her internship, began writing her column and started classes at The University of Texas of the Permian Basin. She's currently working on a master's degree in education, specializing in reading.

Arons' favorite hobby is cooking. She enjoys reading, hanging out with friends and spending time with her two favorite creatures in the world -- her boyfriend and her puppy.
