As if you really needed another reason to hate Hillary
Comments 0 | Recommend 0I don't like Hillary Clinton. I dislike her for reasons both trivial and substantial. I'll offer one example from each category, starting with the petty one.
I don't like her face. It's those perky little squirrel cheeks. It's the way she mimes recognition when pointing, as she always does, at some "supporter" at one of her rallies, and the way her face looks crazy when she does it. (By the way: who attends these rallies? Do candidates put ads in the paper? "Wanted: Loud people who will clap at anything.")
So that's one shallow reason to dislike Mrs. Clinton, among many. Here's a reason that, I hope you'll agree, has some weight.
She's a liar. Flat out and provable. Take Bosnia, for instance. After lying about being Hillary Rodham Rambo, she offered this as an apology, in a manner the Clintons really ought to patent and sell to liars of the future: "So I made a mistake. That happens. It proves I'm human. Which, you know, for some people is a revelation."
Even though I'll concede that she is, in fact, human, I'll take issue with the description of her lie as "a mistake." A mistake is when you buy the wrong kind of milk or forget to take Sally to soccer practice. A mistake isn't the same as a fabrication. Candidates for the presidency should know the difference, because most 4-year-olds do.
A fabrication involves claiming that you landed under sniper fire, when you didn't. Who could forget, or make a "mistake," about being fired upon?
Hillary can!
A fabrication involves claiming there was no welcome ceremony, when there was. She even kissed a little Bosnian girl for the cameras. Who could do that without shame, and then lie about it?
Hillary could - and did.
A fabrication involves claiming that "We just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles," when she simply didn't. Even if she's right in claiming she was TOLD to run to her car, then it follows that she ignored that advice and took Chelsea for a nice little walk on a Tarmac she claims was fraught with danger. Who could possibly cite a lie this blatant and obvious as experience in foreign policy?
Hillary, that's who!
How is she getting away with this? How does a voter say this to themselves: "She is a liar. She DESPERATELY wants to rule my country. I think I'll vote for her."
Is it because she is a she? Is that the only hurdle this liar had to clear? To be born without a ‘Y' chromosome? Does this qualify our former first lady to lead us? Of course not. That would be stupid.
Is it the junior senator's experience that qualifies her? Do her eight years of sleeping in the White House give her the skills necessary to move to another wing of the mansion? Granted, she didn't just sleep there. She also stood by while the Lincoln Bedroom was pimped out to Steven Spielberg for $336,000. And she worked tirelessly on health care. She really took on those evil insurance companies. Know how I know that? She's mentioned it a few times.
I can't answer why she's still in this race. Why would anyone but a masochist ask for not just another Clinton, but HILLARY no less? She's rude, loud, unattractive, and she tends to lie from time to time.
What is there to like about this woman, sharp pantsuits notwithstanding?
