Comments 0 | Recommend 0Rock the Desert 2008 kicks off Friday
You don't have to be Peter, Matthew or John to enjoy this year's Rock the Desert.
The annual two-day Christian rock music festival hits the sands this weekend near the Midland International Airport.
Come, take a look with us at who's playing at this year's festival.
We'll be posting a new band profile every couple of hours during the daytime this week, leading up to the RTD kickoff at 3 p.m. Friday.
DISCIPLE
Following a win at the 39th annual Dove Awards for "Rock Album of the Year," Disciple unleashes a strong message with some heavy-sounding music.
The band from Knoxville, Tenn., started more than 15 years ago with a group of high school buddies and impacts youth with its broad spectrum of musical styling.
