The following is a list of felony criminal activities reported to the police. Numbered addresses of locations where crimes occur are rounded to the nearest hundred block.
ASSAULT BY CHOKING (FAMILY VIOLENCE)
- An Odessa man reported someone he knows assaulted him by choking him at 10:05 p.m. Monday in the 4600 block of Oakwood Drive. He did not report any injuries and was not transported for medical transportation.
BURGLARY OF A BUILDING
- An Odessa man reported someone entered his storage shed and took a Kenmore microwave worth $200, an airless paint gun worth $400, a refrigerator worth $230, a water dispenser worth $65 and a suitcase containing eight or nine pairs of Lee 501 jeans worth a total of $640 between 3 p.m. Dec. 15 and 8 p.m. Tuesday in the 3200 block of East Business 20.
BURGLARY OF A HABITATION
- An Odessa woman reported someone entered her residence, doing $200 of damage to a door, and took $700 in cash between 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of Ellis Drive.
- An Odessa man reported someone entered his residence and took a 9mm Highpoint pistol worth $180 and an Xbox 360 and Kinect worth a total of $249 between 4 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 2700 block of Hilltop Drive.
- An Odessa man reported someone entered his residence and took a nail file worth 50 cents and a tube of toothpaste worth 50 cents at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 2000 block of Gila Road.
- An Odessa woman reported someone entered her residence and took a Springfield .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun worth $700, a Springfield .40 caliber semi-automatic worth $500, a Smith & Wesson .38 special revolver worth $400, a Colt .357 revolver worth $1,000 and a Taurus .38 semi-automatic handgun worth $800 between 5:30 p.m. Monday and 1:49 p.m. Tuesday in the 4200 block of Lynbrook Avenue.
- An Odessa man reported someone entered his residence and took a 42-inch Sanyo flat screen television worth $700 between just after midnight and 8 a.m. Tuesday in the 1400 block of Whitaker Avenue.
- An Odessa woman reported someone entered his residence and took a 32-inch Emerson flat screen television worth $248 between 4:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday in the 1300 block of East First Street.
UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE
- An Odessa woman reported someone took her black 1998 Ford Expedition at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 1000 block of East Monahans Street.
