The following is a list of felony criminal activities reported to the police. Numbered addresses of locations where crimes occur are rounded to the nearest hundred block.
BURGLARY OF A BUILDING
- A Denver, Colo.,woman reported someone entered her residence and took a toilet worth $90, a vanity box worth $129, two ceiling fans worth a total of $200, four globe lights worth a total of $40 and four doors worth a total of $360 at sometime Saturday in the 400 block of Pecos Street.
- An Odessa man reported someone entered a building and took a Hitachi miter saw worth $250, a DeWalt saw stand worth $100, two DeWalt nail guns worth $200, two Hitachi nail guns worth $200 and a DeWalt crown stapler worth $100 between 9:30 p.m. Sunday and 9:23 p.m. Monday in the 1100 block of Laredo Drive.
CREDIT CARD ABUSE
- An Odessa man reported someone used his credit card at 8 a.m. Jan. 9 at Kent Kwik, 4203 N. Grandview Ave.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
- An Odessa woman reported someone did $2,000 of damage to the paint of her white 2007 Cadillac Escalade at 1:50 p.m. Monday at Walmart, 4210 JBS Parkway.
FRAUDULENT USE OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION
- An El Paso woman reported to the Odessa Police Department that someone used her identifying information between sometime in 2000 and sometime in January 2012.
- An Odessa man reported someone used his identifying information between August 1992 and Tuesday in the 800 block of Autumn Avenue.
THEFT
- A 49-year-old Odessa woman was arrested and charged with state-jail-felony theft with two or more previous convictions at 9:49 p.m. Monday after Walmart, 2450 NW Loop 338, reported someone took three beef briskets worth a total of $71.82 and five rib-eye steaks worth a total of $75.66, all of which were recovered. Debbie Gay Wedgeworth, 2006 W. Second St., was being held in the Ector County Detention Center Tuesday on a $15,000 bond. The report stated Wedgeworth had three prior theft convictions.
