Winegrower Workshop

The Texas AgriLife Extension Service is offering a Prospective Winegrower Workshop, educational program designed to provide an overview of the requirements and risks associated with the establishment and operation of a commercial vineyard.
The workshop is scheduled 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Midland County Extension, 2445 Highway 80, Midland.
Extension Viticultural Advisors Teresa Burns and Fran Pontasch will instruct the workshop.
The cost is $125 per person or $200 per couple. This workshop serves as a prerequisite for application to the Texas Viticulture Certificate Program, offered by Texas Tech University and Texas AgriLife Extension.
