[NR] Loop 338 project work to begin

Lanes to be resurfaced between Yukon Road and Highway 302

Texas Department of Transportaton

NEWS RELEASE Workers for Price Construction have placed perimeter traffic control devices in preparation for an upcoming construction job on West Loop 338.

The $1.4 million project calls for the rehabilitation of all four lanes from Highway 302 to just north of Yukon Road, a 2.5 mile stretch. Price will remove the old pavement and replace it with new asphalt, making a better driving experience for motorists.

One lane of traffic in each direction will remain open as the contractor removes and replaces the pavement surface. Temporary closures of State Highway 302 ramps may occur at different phases of construction.

The complete project is expected to take nine weeks to complete.

Motorists are asked to find alternate routes until work is completed if possible. If motorists need to travel through the work zone, they should obey work zone signs and any flag crew members they encounter at all times.

The speed limit will be reduced in the work zone.
