Senate hopeful

Houston Mayor Bill White, one of the Democratic candidates looking to take over Kay Bailey Hutchison's seat in the U.S. Senate, will be in town Monday.
White will participate in an hour-long meet-and-greet starting at 5:30 p.m. at 20 Troon.
Bobbie Duncan said the Ector County Democratic Party is playing host to the event. Duncan is the local party chair.
