One person injured

A man was taken to Medical Center Hospital with minor injuries after a two-pickup crash closed West University Boulevard in both directions in West Odessa early Friday evening, Department of Public Safety trooper Hunter Lewis said.
   Lewis said a maroon Chevrolet Silverado was heading south on North Timberline Avenue and tried to make a left turn onto University Boulevard, getting in the way of a Dodge Dakota. Both pickups collided at University. Police dispatchers were called at about 6:15 p.m. Friday.
   The driver of the Silverado, whose name was not available, was taken to Medical Center Hospital.
