As the sun rises over a windmill south of Odessa Friday, the National Weather Service forecast indicates an abundance of sunshine during the holiday weekend.

The forecast calls for most sunny conditions and high temperatures in the upper 90s for both today and Saturday.

On Sunday, a 20 percent chance of rain returns along with slightly cooler temperatures in the mid 90s.
