>> An Odessa man reported someone assaulted him sometime between 4 a.m. and 4:25 a.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of North Sam Houston Avenue.

>> An Odessa man reported someone assaulted him in his yard sometime between 12:15 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. Feb. 2 in the 1300 block of East 44th Street.

Burglary of a Building

>> J&T Upholstery, 1326 E. Sixth St., reported someone took two DVD screens, three paint guns, a computer, two cameras and a CD changer worth a total of $5,290 sometime between 5 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

>> An Odessa man reported someone took $1,075 worth of tools from a shed sometime between 2 p.m. Jan. 30 and 11 a.m. Saturday in the unit block of Revere Place.

>> An Odessa man reported someone took an unknown amount of money from his property sometime between 11 p.m. Saturday and 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of East Eighth Street.

Burglary of a Habitation

>> An Odessa man reported someone took a $1,500 flat-screen television from his home sometime between 4 p.m. Friday and 7:30 a.m. Saturday in the 4600 block of Oakwood Drive.

>> An Odessa man reported someone took a flat-screen television, DVD player, 12 rings, 35 DVDs and a cell phone from his home sometime between 8:15 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. Saturday in the 3100 block of Maple Avenue.

>> An Odessa woman reported someone took a $30 CD player from her home sometime between 1 p.m. Saturday and 1 a.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of Limestone Avenue.

>> An Odessa man reported someone took a $2,500 flat-screen television from his home sometime between 4:20 p.m. and 4 a.m. Saturday in the 9100 block of Andrews Highway.

>> An Odessa woman reported someone kicked in her door causing $800 damage at 9:19 p.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of Maple Avenue.

>> An Odessa woman reported someone took a computer and a camera worth a total of $1,300 sometime between 8:30 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of Limestone Avenue.

Possession of a controlled substance

>> A 47-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance at 8:22 a.m. Wednesday in the 12800 block of West 42nd Street.

Victor G. Porras, 12820 W. 42nd St., was released Thursday from the Ector County Detention Center on $25,000 bond.

Robbery

>> An Odessa man reported someone robbed him of $100 cash and one pair of $80, white-framed sunglasses sometime between 11:35 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. Saturday in the 2100 block of East Eighth Street.

Theft

>> An Odessa woman reported someone she knows stole $4,800 from her between May 27, 2009, and July 1, 2009, in the 700 block of North Grant Avenue.

>> An Odessa man reported someone took a tailgate off his pickup sometime between 7 p.m. and 9:10 p.m. Saturday in the 4300 block of Andrews Highway.

>> A Kermit man reported someone took a radar detector and a handgun at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 18 in the 2400 block of East Eighth Street.
