The following is a list of felony criminal activities reported to the police

Numbered addresses of crime victims’ private residences and locations where crimes occur are rounded to the nearest hundred block.

Aggravated Assault

>> An Odessa man reported someone shot him in the arm sometime between 1:05 p.m. and 1:10 p.m. Friday in the 1400 block of South Texas Avenue.

>> An Odessa man reported someone shot him in the arm and back at 11:08 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of Carolyn Drive.

Burglary of a Habitation

>> An Odessa woman reported someone took a Nintendo Wii and four games from her home sometime between 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Friday in the 2500 block of West Eighth Street.

>> An Odessa woman reported someone took a $300 laptop from her home sometime between 2 a.m. and 10:01 p.m. Sunday in the 1300 block of Adams Avenue.

>> An Odessa woman reported someone took a computer, a PlayStation 3 and a Nintendo Wii worth a total of $2,650 from her home sometime between 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday.

>> An Odessa woman reported someone took a flat-screen television, 10 necklaces and an Xbox game system from her home sometime between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Friday in the 1600 block of Castle Road.

Burglary of a Business

>> Global Contact Services, 619 N. Grant Ave., reported someone broke in and caused $30,000 damage to flat-screen monitors and computers sometime between 11:05 p.m. Thursday and 7:35 a.m. Friday in the 600 block of North Grant Avenue.

Credit Card Abuse

>> An Odessa woman reported someone obtained a credit card number and used it without her permission sometime between Jan. 5 and Jan. 6 in the 2000 block of Santa Monica Avenue.

>> An Odessa man reported someone purchased $2,500 worth of merchandise on his credit card without his permission at an unknown time Jan. 12 in the 200 block of Orchard Drive.

Possession of a Controlled Substance

>> A 31-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday in the 2900 block of East Highway 80.

Andre J. Thomas, 4330 N. Grandview Ave., was being held Monday in the Ector County Detention Center on $100,000 bond.

robbery

>> An Odessa man reported someone assaulted him and took his $300 laptop sometime between 1:52 and 1:58 p.m. Friday in the 2700 block of West 10th Street.

Tampering with evidence, felon in possession of a firearm

>> A 45-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with tampering with evidence and felon in possession of a firearm at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday in the 1500 block of Broughton Avenue.

Francisco J. Garza, 401 Clifford St., was being held Monday in the Ector County Detention Center on bonds totaling $62,500.

Possession of a Controlled Substance, Tampering with Evidence

>> A 39-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and tampering with evidence at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday in the 1500 block of Broughton Avenue.

David A. Garza, 1508 Boughton Ave., was being held Monday in the Ector County Detention Center on bonds totaling $201,000.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE

>> An Odessa man reported someone took a vehicle without permission sometime between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Wednesday in the 2900 block of East Highway 80.

>> An Odessa man reported someone took a vehicle without permission sometime between 11:30 p.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Thursday in the 1400 block of Englewood Lane.
