OHS v. Permian ticket line reservations go quickly

The 400 places in line for today's ticket sales for Friday night's football game between the Odessa High Bronchos and the Permian Panthers went quickly Monday morning.

"It was pretty packed," ECISD Communications Director Mike Adkins said.

Each of the 400 individuals with numbers will be eligible to purchase tickets starting at 5 p.m. today at Ratliff Stadium according to their number. Each buyer may purchase 10 tickets, meaning up to 4,000 tickets could be sold by this evening.

After every person in line has purchased the number of tickets wanted, athletic officials will consider what remains to be sold before selling tickets for standing-room only sections in the north end zone.

This year marks the 50th meeting of the two teams on the gridiron. Both teams are 4-0 going into this week's game.

Tickets cost $7 for adults and $2 for students in the student section.
