Texas Railroad Commissioner Michael Williams and District 60 Rep. Jim Keffer visit UTPB

Texas Railroad Commissioner Michael Williams joined about 40 area business leaders, faculty and students for the biannual University of Texas of the Permian Basin School of Business Advisory Council meeting Tuesday on campus.

UTPB President David Watts, right, escorted District 60 Rep. Jim Keffer of Eastland around campus Tuesday. The legislator is chairman of the House Committee on Energy Resources and also serves on the business and industry committee, the calendars committee and the redistricting committee. Keffer was first elected to the Texas House of Representatives in 1996 and is president of an iron foundry.
