Sam's Club general manager Dustin Haigood, from left, teacher of the year Sarah Cecil, principal Annette Macias and membership manager Jennifer Lopez display a check in the amount of $1,000 for the Carver Early Education Center after Cecil was named teacher of the year Monday afternoon. Cecil received a $1,000 grant for the school, a $100 gift card to purchase classroom supplies and a personalized certificate.
