Calling all elves

Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Texas, West Texas Regional office has scheduled a toy drive from Monday to Aug. 31 at the Community National Bank branches in Odessa, Midland and Stanton.

Donation boxes will be set up in each of the bank’s lobby, which are open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday.

Toys that are donated should be new and appropriate for children between the ages of 2 to 18. Toys are used by volunteer "wish granters" as icebreakers for wish kids and their siblings when wish granters meet the families for the first time.
