Suspect found in Dumpster

MIDLAND Midland County sheriff’s deputies on Monday served a felony warrant on a man they found hiding in a Dumpster, authorities said.

Robert Craig Bigelow, 21, of Midland, was charged with one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The Midland County Sheriff’s Office said Bigelow, who was working in the area Monday, received a call on his cell phone about 4:30 p.m. and attempted to evade arrest by climbing into a Dumpster in the alley between Eerie Drive and Parkdale Drive.

Bigelow was being held Monday in the Midland County Jail on $75,000 bond.
