    Kansas Amber Alert

    Comments 0 | Recommend 0

According to a news release read by a Marion County sheriff dispatcher, authorities believe she may have been taken against her will by Rojelio Hernandez, a 21-year-old from Odessa, who may possibly be taking her to the Permian Basin.

The release said Simhiser was reported missing at about 3 p.m. Tuesday from Lehigh, a community of about 200 people that is 51 miles north of Wichita.

Authorities are looking for a blue Honda Accord with a Texas license plate.

Ector County sheriff Sgt. Gary Duesler said someone by the same name as Rojelio Hernandez was wanted for a parole violation, but Duesler was not able to confirm whether it was the same Rojelio Hernandez in the Amber Alert.
