ECISD trustees to discuss class-size waivers

The Ector County Independent School District’s board of trustees will meet at noon Tuesday at the district’s administration building in conference room E, second floor, 802 N. Sam Houston, to hear a presentation on energy and discuss additional class size waivers.
The energy management presentation aims to provide energy savings cost options to the district.
The class size waivers item will allow board member the time to discuss and approve additional class size waivers to the state. The district originally applied for class size waivers for 82 elementary classes. The discussion would allow the board to amend the original waiver to include 134 class size waivers.
