A 46-year-old Midland man was killed late Saturday in a motorcycle crash on Loop 250 in Midland, according to a news release from city public information officer Tina Jauz.

Police were called at about 11:25 p.m. Saturday to the 200 block of West Loop 250 South's east service road, where they found David Singer dead near his fallen motorcycle.

Investigators believe Singer was headed north on the east service road riding a Harley Davidson 1200 Sportster. He moved left off the roadway and into a grass median before striking a metal pole.

Police found the motorcycle on its side with its lights on between the east service road and the northbound lanes of Loop 250.

Singer was wearing a helmet.
