Deputies looking for man linked to shooting

The Ector County Sheriff's Office is calling out to the public for help finding a man named in an arrest warrant in connection with the Sept. 15 shooting at the Jaguars Gold Club, 6824 Cargo Road.

Sheriff's Sgt. Gary Duesler said Tuesday they haven't had many leads since they finished interviewing witnesses to the shooting, which seriously injured one woman.

"We just need some more people to come forward with some information," Duesler said.

An arrest warrant has been issued for 23-year-old Tavaron Oleshon Miller in connection with the case.

"It's just a matter of collecting as much info as we can," Duesler said.

According to a press release from Duesler made the day of the shooting, sheriff deputies responded to a disturbance at 2:15 a.m. to find a woman who was struck by a bullet through her left wrist that then went into her stomach.

Duesler added that he still did not know the cause of the disturbance that led to the shooting.

Anyone with any information on the shooting or on Miller's whereabouts can call the Ector County Sheriff's office at 335-3050.
