Are you ready to Rock the Desert?

The annual two-day Christian rock music festival hits the sands this weekend near the Midland International Airport.

We'll be posting a new band profile every couple of hours during the daytime this week, leading up to the RTD kickoff at 3 p.m. Friday.

NEEDTOBREATHE

Raised in South Carolina, brothers Bear and Bo Rinehart developed an early enthusiasm for music, which turned into the melding of pop melodies and rock ‘n' roll power with a spiritual message.

As Needtobreathe was formed, the band used inspirational sounds to form its work into a rich, overt depiction of faith.
