Second man indicted in Sonic robbery
The second man accused in the robbery of a Sonic Drive-In employee was also indicted Monday, the same day as his reported partner in crime.
Morabi Belem Salinas, 17, was indicted on an aggravated robbery charge in connection with a reported Oct. 6 robbery in the parking lot of Sonic Drive-In, 2313 N. County Road West.
Fabian Cervantes, 18, was indicted on the same charge in records made available Thursday.
According to Odessa police, an employee sweeping the parking lot said two men approached him and demanded money, pointing a gun to his neck.
After taking the money, the men fled on foot. Police said one of the men may have been a former employee.
Police found them within a day.
