N-N-Out Robbed

Comments 0 | Recommend 0

The N-N-Out convenience store at 10th Street and Loop 338 was robbed Friday evening, a day after the 7-Eleven five blocks to the south was hit, Odessa police Lt. D. Tarbet said.

Tarbet had a limited description of what happened at the robbery, reported at 8:38 p.m. Friday. According to a police report he had, a white male, about 5 feet, 11 inches tall with blonde hair and blue eyes entered the store, pulled out a handgun and demanded money. The clerk handed the money over and the robber left.

No one was injured during the robbery, Tarbet said.

A clerk at N-N-Out, who was not on shift during the robbery but saw the surveillance tapes, said the robber also wore a Dallas Cowboys ball cap. She said he held the gun in a horizontal "gangsta" fashion after walking around the counter.

Other than the clothes, the description of this robber was identical to the description of the robber that was at the 7-Eleven on Eighth Street and Loop 338 on Thursday evening. However, Tarbet said police are not saying at the time that the two are related.

Anyone with information on either robbery can call the Odessa Police Department at 333-3641 or Odessa Crime Stoppers at 333-8477.
