West Texas Opportunities offers help with energy bills

Trying to keep out of those 100-degree-plus days, but the air conditioning bill's got you down?

West Texas Opportunities is looking to help some Permian Basin residents with their energy costs.

In February, the nonprofit was awarded grant money for the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program. There's still some funds left for Ector and Midland County residents who qualify.

Applications are being accepted now at West Texas Opportunities, 700 N. Grant Ave., Suite 150, from those who are income eligible.

For information, call 333-9027.
