The following is a list of felony criminal activities reported to the police. Numbered addresses of locations where crimes occur are rounded to the nearest hundred block.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT (FAMILY VIOLENCE)
- An Odessa man reported someone he knows bumped his leg with a vehicle between 6:15 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. Thursday in the 1700 block of West 24th Street. He did not report any injuries and was not transported for medical treatment.
FAILURE TO STOP AND RENDER AID
- An Odessa woman reported someone did not stop to give her aid after being involved in a vehicle accident at 4:50 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of 10th Street and West County Road. She was transported by ambulance to Medical Center Hospital with minor injuries, a police report stated. She was no longer listed as a patient Friday.
FRAUDULENT USE OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION
- An Odessa man reported someone used his identifying information at sometime in September 2006 in the 2200 block of North Washington Avenue.
INJURY TO DISABLED (FAMILY VIOLENCE)
- An Odessa man reported someone he knows punched him in the face causing a busted lip and scratches to his foot between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Thursday in the 3800 block of Robertson Avenue. He refused transportation for medical treatment.
POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (COCAINE)
- A 29-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with state-fail-felony possession of cocaine at 1:22 a.m. Friday in the 1300 block of Laredo Drive. William Burk, 3700 Amherst Ave., was being held Friday in the Ector County Detention Center on bonds totaling $20,000.
THEFT
- Subway, 1900 E. 42nd St., reported someone took an unspecified amount of money from the business at 2 p.m. Monday.
