Rain moving out
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Water covered the usual flood-prone spots in Odessa as light rains went over West Texas Monday, though National Weather Service meteorologist David Hennig said only 0.05 inches were officially recorded by 9:15 p.m. at Schlemeyer Field. Midland International Airport recorded 0.09 inches.
Heavier rains fell in Jeff Davis and Brewster counties. Though precipitation totals weren’t available for that area, Hennig said they had no floods reported from it.
Hennig said to expect more lingering rainfall through Tuesday morning and then expect a dry remainder of the week.
