The following is a list of felony criminal activities reported to the police. Numbered addresses of crime victims’ private residences and locations where crimes occur are rounded to the nearest hundred block.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT
- An Odessa woman reported someone she knows assaulted her causing contusions around both eyes and bruises on her neck and arms between 8 a.m. Feb. 5 and 5 p.m. Friday in the 900 block of East 23rd Street. She refused transportation to the hospital.
- A Monahans man reported someone he knows punched him in the face, knocking his bottom right teeth loose and causing a bloody bottom lip and a possible broken jaw, between 2:20 a.m. and 2:26 a.m. Sunday in the 4100 block of Tanglewood Lane. He was transported by private vehicle to Medical Center Hospital.
ASSAULT (FAMILY VIOLENCE)
- An Odessa woman reported that her common law husband assaulted her by choking her between 8:20 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Friday in the 3800 block of Penbrook Street. No injuries were listed and she was not transported.
- An Odessa woman reported that her boyfriend slapped her in the face, choked her and then interfered with the emergency call by grabbing the phone and breaking it between 1:30 a.m. and 1:44 a.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of North Hancock Avenue.
BURGLARY OF A BUILDING
- An Odessa woman reported someone took two lawnmowers and a gas container worth a total of $610 between 5 p.m. Feb. 6 and 5:50 p.m. Thursday in the 2000 block of North Lincoln Avenue.
- An Odessa man reported someone took a television, a digital audio box and a shredder worth a total of $200 between 3:56 p.m. and 4 p.m. Friday in the 1700 block of East Second Street.
BURGLARY OF A HABITATION
- An Odessa man reported someone went into his home and took a pistol worth $533 between 7:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Thursday in the 4600 block of Oakwood Drive.
- An Odessa woman reported someone went into her apartment and took two game consoles, a DVD player and jewelry worth a total of $1,050 between noon and 9 p.m. Saturday in the 2900 block of Pleasant Avenue.
- An Odessa woman reported someone took five bottles of medicine, three rings and a bag of quarters worth a total of $1,010 between Feb. 5 and Saturday in the 700 block of South County Road.
- An Odessa woman reported someone took a bracelet, a necklace and two rings worth a total of $3,400 between 5 p.m. Feb. 3 and 9 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Crestview Drive.
- An Odessa man reported someone took two televisions and 18 DVDs worth a total of $2,270 between 10 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Saturday in the 3800 block of Penbrook Street.
FORGERY
- Gilly V. Trucking, 574 E. Calcutta St., reported someone forged the name of someone in the business between July 2011 and December 2011 in the 1300 block of East Eighth Street.
FRAUDULENT USE OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION
- An Odessa man reported someone used his personal bank account information between 8 a.m. Friday and 6:45 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of North Grant Avenue.
THEFT
- An Odessa man reported someone took his welder and trailer worth a total of $2,250 between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday in the 2600 block of Madera Avenue.
- An Odessa woman reported someone took a driver’s license, a Social Security card and a purse worth $50 and $1,700 in cash between 8 p.m. and 8:40 p.m. Friday in the 4900 block of East 42nd Street.
- Whataburger, 3716 N. Andrews Highway, reported someone they know took deposit money worth $2,997.67 between 3:45 p.m. Jan. 22 and 4:30 p.m. Friday.
UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE
- Cameron, 270 South Grandview Ave., reported someone took a 2009 Ford between 11 p.m. Feb. 4 and 7:40 p.m. Friday in the 1000 block of East Monahans Street.
- An Odessa man reported someone he knows took his 2002 Chevrolet Impala at 6 a.m. Friday in the 2000 block of West Second Street.
- An Odessa man reported someone took his 2010 Yamaha motorcycle between 10:30 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday in the 4100 block of East 42nd Street.
