Two arrested in MCH parking lot

A 45-year-old Odessa woman and a 41-year-old Wickett man were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance Monday after police reported the two were found in the Medical Center Hospital parking lot with drugs not usually prescribed by doctors.

Kelly Dawn Silveria, 7119 W. Dunn St., was being held Tuesday at the Ector County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond. A police report stated Silveria was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamines.

Earnest Alexander Millard Jr., 604 Brady Ave., Wickett, was released Tuesday from the detention center on a $15,000 bond. A police report stated Millard was arrested and charged with possession of heroin and class C misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police responded to a disturbance call around 7:05 p.m. in the MCH parking lot, Odessa Police spokeswoman Cpl. Sherrie Carruth said.  When police arrived at the parking lot, they noticed Milliard, the passenger of a vehicle, trying to hide something, Carruth said.

Police found searched the vehicle “a quantity” of meth near Silveria and heroin on Millard, Carruth said.
