AGGRAVATED ASSAULT
>> An Odessa man reported someone punched him in the face, breaking his nose and impairing him between 10:30 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. Friday in the 5500 block of Dakota Avenue. He was taken to Medical Center Hospital.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON
>> A 19-year-old Odessa woman was arrested and charged with aggravated assault after an Odessa man reported she stabbed him in the abdomen between 3:10 a.m. and 3:53 a.m. Saturday in the 900 block of Lauderdale Avenue. The man was taken to Medical Center Hospital where he was treated and released.
Jennifer Gonzales, 9025 Lamar Ave., posted a $20,000 bond Monday.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON / CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
>> A man staying at Parkway Inn, 3021 E. U.S. Highway 80, reported a known person attacked him with a knife at 6 p.m. Sunday, while a Midland woman reported someone caused $3,000 in damage to her 2008 Chevrolet Silverado between 6 p.m. and 6:11 p.m. at the same location.
AGGRAVATED ROBBERY / AGGRAVATED ASSAULT
>> A 24-year-old transient man was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated robbery and one count of aggravated assault after two Odessa women and an Odessa man reported he tried to take two purses worth a total of $700 at knife point, then bit the man and tried to stab him between 10:20 p.m. and 10:26 p.m. Saturday at Albertson’s, 2751 N. West County Road.
Gregorio Vazquez was being held without bond Tuesday on an Immigrations and Customs Enforcement detainer at the Ector County Detention Center.
BURGLARY OF A BUILDING
>> Verizon, 2808 N. West County Road, reported someone caused $500 in damage to a door, entered the store and took a TV worth $2,000 between 6 a.m. and 6:08 a.m. Sunday.
>> 7-Eleven, 3660 W. Eighth St., reported someone caused $750 in damage to a door, entered the business and took five 12-packs of beer and a 30-pack of beer worth a total of $89.90 between 2:18 a.m. and 2:47 a.m. Sunday.
>> Hills Carpet Warehouse, 523 S. Grant Ave., reported someone entered the business and took a weed trimmer worth $130 between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Sunday.
>> 7-Eleven, 801 Golder Ave., reported someone caused $600 in damage to a door, entered the store and took six 12-packs of beer worth a total of $74.94 between 2:14 a.m. and 2:17 a.m. Sunday.
>> Aaron’s, 1210 N. West County Road, reported someone caused $500 in damage to a window, entered the store and took a TV worth $400 at 3:51 a.m. Sunday.
BURGLARY OF A BUILDING / ATTEMPTED BURGLARY OF A HABITATION
>> An Odessa man reported someone entered a storage building, took a skew lopper and pair of gloves worth a total of $36, caused a total of $130 in damage to a window and door knob on his home and then fled it, leaving the items behind between 7 a.m. and 11:03 a.m. Sunday in the 3000 block of West Fourth Street.
BURGLARY OF A COIN-OPERATED MACHINE
>> Bellview, Wash.-based Coin Star reported someone caused $1,000 in damage to a DVD dispenser, entered the machine and took 192 DVDs worth a total of $3,840 between midnight Saturday and 6 a.m. Sunday at Albertson’s, 2751 N. West County Road.
BURGLARY OF A HABITATION
>> An Odessa woman reported someone entered her home and took a ladies’ wallet worth $45 between 9:30 p.m. Saturday and 9:29 a.m. Sunday in the 700 block of Courtland Avenue.
>> An Odessa woman reported someone entered her home and took a laptop worth $800 between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Saturday in the 3700 block of Andrews Highway.
>> An Odessa man reported someone caused $100 in damage to a door, entered his home and took a 12-gauge shotgun worth $2,000 between 1 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of West 19th Street.
>> An Odessa woman reported someone caused $400 in damage to a door, entered her home and took a TV, wedding band and necklace worth a total of $741 between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Friday in the 3200 block of Noble Avenue.
BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE
>> An Odessa man reported someone entered his 2004 Ford F-250 and took a flight bag, GPS and briefcase containing four flight logs and assorted papers worth a total of $30,430 between 9 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday in the 1700 block of West 26th Street.
>> An Odessa woman reported someone caused $500 in damage to a window on her white 2006 Cadillac Escalade, entered the SUV and took a purse worth $1,000 between 1:30 p.m. and 2:11 p.m. Sunday in the 4800 block of East 42nd Street.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
>> An Odessa man reported someone caused $2,400 in damage to the rear panel of his dark gray 2007 Dodge Durango between 7:50 a.m. and 7:54 a.m. Saturday in the 1900 block of East Fifth Street.
>> An Odessa man reported a known person caused $3,850 in damage to his tan and green 1997 Dodge 3500 between 10:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Friday at Odessa High School, 1301 Dotsy Ave.
EVADING ARREST / DETENTION WITH A VEHICLE
>> An 18-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with evading arrest detention in a vehicle between 1 a.m. and 1:01 a.m. Saturday in the 4300 block of North Dixie Boulevard.
Marco Aparicio, 432 W. May St., posted bonds totaling $8,000 Saturday.
>> Police reported a woman failed to stop for police while an officer was trying to detain her between 12:31 and 12:22 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Dawn Avenue and Boulder Avenue.
>> A 23-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with evading arrest detention in a vehicle at 3:39 p.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of North Grandview Avenue.
Jermaine Collins, 206 Patterson Ave., was being held without bond Tuesday on a probation revocation at the Ector County Detention Center.
FRAUDULENT USE OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION
>> An Odessa woman reported a known person used her ID in 2006 in the 6500 block of Eastridge Road.
HINDERING APPREHENSION
>> A 22-year-old Odessa woman was arrested and charged with hindering apprehension after the Odessa Police Department reported she “aided in stories of a person with a felony warrant so person would be released” between 1:46 a.m. and 4 a.m. Sunday in the unit block of Paradise Avenue.
Bernadette Burch, 25 Paradise Ave., was being held Tuesday at the Ector County Detention Center on a $15,000 bond.
POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
>> A 21-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance at 12:01 a.m. Monday in the 1400 block of Anderson Avenue.
Jaime Vasquez, 1418 Anderson Ave., posted a $15,000 bond Monday.
>> A 29-year-old Odessa woman was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance at 2:20 a.m. Saturday in the 3900 block of Tanglewood Lane.
Bernadette Flores, 216 W. Schell St., posted a $7,500 bond Saturday.
THEFT
>> An Odessa man reported someone took his black 2007 trailer worth $5,000 between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Friday in the 2900 block of Eastover Drive.
>> An Odessa man reported someone took a safe worth $35.98 containing $4,000 in cash between 9 a.m. Sept. 21 and 7 p.m. Saturday in the 4600 block of Conley Avenue.
