    Man accused of robbing McDonalds

A man accused of using a pair of clubs to rob a McDonalds and steal a car is facing two aggra-vated robbery charges, according to a news release from Odessa police Cpl. Sherrie Carruth.
Quentin Yates, 30, was being held Monday at the Ector County Detention Center on two bonds totaling $200,000 after the Monday morning robbery.
According to the release and a separate police report, the police were called at about 5 a.m. to the McDonalds at 1800 E. Eighth St. Two employees there reported that a black man came in with two clubs that Carruth said were the kind used in cleaning sets for a barbecue pit. The man took an unknown amount of money and also took the car keys from one of the employees, driving off with that employee’s 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe.
The employees were not injured during the robbery, the release said.
Officers found the Tahoe near Fifth Street and North Dixie Boulevard. Investigators later identi-fied Yates as a suspect before issuing arrest warrants against him.
