AGGRAVATED ASSAULT
>> A 22-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with aggravated assault after he threatened a child with a firearm between 10:50 p.m. and 10:53 p.m. Wednesday in the 4600 block of Oakwood Drive.
Paul Risnol, 4600 Oakwood Drive, was being held Friday at the Ector County Detention Center on bonds totaling $112,500.
>> An Odessa woman reported someone threatened her with a firearm at the same time and location.
ASSAULT CAUSING BODILY INJURY
>> A 20-year-old Odessa man was arrested and given a felony assault charge after a family member reported that he assaulted her, scratching her chest and arms between 12:39 a.m. and 12:49 a.m. Friday in the 1100 block of Alameda Avenue.
Daniel Knox, 1109 Alameda Ave., was being held Friday at the Ector County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond.
BURGLARY OF A BUILDING
>> An Odessa man reported someone entered a building and took a laptop computer worth $2,500 between midnight June 7 and midnight Wednesday in the 2500 block of Bainbridge Drive.
>> An Odessa man reported someone broke a lock, entered his shed and took three camping tents, five sleeping bags, a camping stove, a set of gardening tools and a dolly worth a total of $550 between 11 p.m. Wednesday and 10:50 a.m. Thursday in the 1100 block of West Avenue.
BURGLARY OF A HABITATION
>> An Odessa man reported someone caused a total of $250 in damage to a door and its molding, entered his home and took a $2 bill between 6:45 a.m. and 5 p.m. Thursday in the 1400 block of Castle Road.
>> An Odessa man reported someone caused $1,000 in damage to a door, entered her home and took a TV, jewelry box and a roll of pennies worth a total of $310.50 between 8:20 a.m. and 1:29 p.m. Thursday in the 3700 block of Travis Avenue.
>> An Odessa man reported someone caused $300 in damage to his door, entered his home and took a video gaming system, eight video games, a digital camera, an MP3 player and a platinum ring worth a total of $5,050 between 4:45 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. Thursday in the 1400 block of Maple Avenue.
DEBIT CARD ABUSE
>> An Odessa woman reported someone took a debit card from her mailbox between 8 a.m. May 28 and 10:06 p.m. June 12 in the 4600 block of Oakwood Drive and used it at an unknown location.
ROBBERY
>> An Odessa woman reported someone she knew struck her and then took a cell phone and cell phone case worth a total of $410 between 11:45 a.m. and 12: 40 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of Hudson
TAMPERING WITH A WITNESS
>> Police reported a known person tried to offer a witness or potential witness to a court proceeding “a benefit” to influence that witness’s testimony at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Jazmine’s, 1116 N. Grant Ave. No arrests were made.
THEFT
>> Wendy’s, 2646 JBS Parkway, reported someone took $2,000 in cash between 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. June 9 from a white 1999 Ford Explorer located in the 1600 block of East 52nd Street.
THEFT FROM A PERSON
>> An Odessa woman reported someone she knew took a cell phone worth $150 from her between 12:30 p.m. and 12:50 p.m. Thursday at Nails 2000, 1522 E. Eighth St.
