BURGLARY OF A BUILDING
>> 7-Eleven, 3600 W. Eighth St., reported someone broke a $400 door, entered the store and took six packages of beer, 14 cartons of cigarettes and 41 lottery tickets worth a total of $407 between midnight and 3:40 a.m. Wednesday.
>> Key West Mattress, 3515 Andrews Highway, reported someone entered the business and took 40 mattresses, a lawn mower and weed trimmer worth a total of $18,420 between 5 p.m. Friday and noon Monday.
>> Quality Inn, 3001 E. U.S. Highway 80, reported someone caused $50 in damage to a door frame, entered the hotel and took a TV worth $1,000 between 2 a.m. and 2:20 a.m. Tuesday.
BURGLARY OF A HABITATION
>> An Odessa man reported someone caused $300 in damage to a glass door, entered his home and took a TV, laptop computer, watch and ring worth a total of $10,400 between midnight and 4:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 2100 block of Grayson Avenue.
>> An Odessa woman reported someone caused an unspecified amount of damage to a door window, entered her home and took a computer, a stereo, a DVD player and 20 DVDs worth a total of $1,860 between 6 a.m. July 1 and 11 a.m. July 7 in the 1100 block of Fitch Avenue.
>> An Odessa man reported someone caused a total of $300 in damage to a door and door frame, entered his home and took a cell phone and .32-caliber revolver worth a total of $400 between 11:30 a.m. and 2:39 p.m. Monday in the 3800 block of Bowie Avenue.
>> An Odessa man reported someone entered his home and took three video gaming systems, three digital cameras, a pocket knife and an amplifier worth a total of $1,920 between 4:30 p.m. Friday and 4 p.m. Tuesday in the 1500 block of East 21st Street.
>> An Odessa woman reported someone caused $150 in damage to a wooden door frame, entered her home and took a TV and laptop computer worth a total of $2,400 between 12:45 p.m. and 2 p.m. Tuesday in the 3600 block of Melody Lane.
CREDIT CARD ABUSE
>> An Odessa woman reported someone entered her black 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe, took her credit card and used it between 4:14 p.m. and 4:50 p.m. Tuesday at Music City Mall, 4101 E. 42nd St.
>> An Odessa woman reported someone entered her dark blue 1996 Pontiac Bonneville and took her credit card between 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of Monticello Drive.
CREDIT CARD ABUSE / DEBIT CARD ABUSE
>> An Odessa man reported someone used his credit and debit cards between 3 p.m. June 22 and 6 p.m. Monday at the westside Wal-Mart, 2450 N.W. Loop 338.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
>> An Odessa man reported someone shot at his bulldozer, causing a total of $2,375 in damage to its front and back windshields, its side bottom, a third window and other parts between 2 p.m. Sunday and 9:36 a.m. Monday at the intersection of 93rd Street and Lamar Avenue.
DEBIT CARD ABUSE
>> An Odessa woman reported someone used her credit card Friday at Chevron, 316 S. Grant Ave.
>> A Monahans man reported someone took a debit card worth $20 from him and used it Friday at 7-Eleven, 1523 Harless Ave.
>> An Odessa woman reported someone entered her blue 2007 GMC Yukon, took her debit card and used it between 11:40 a.m. and 12:50 p.m. Sunday at Smoker's Outlet, 5100 N. Dixie Blvd.
FORGERY
>> An Odessa man reported someone he knew took 125 checks worth a total of $25 and then passed them between April 3 and June 7 at Albertsons, 2751 N. West County Road.
>> Permian Basin Emergency Veterinary Clinic, 601 N. Grandview Ave., reported someone the business knew forged checks between 12:01 a.m. May 13 and 11:59 p.m. June 21.
>> An Odessa woman reported someone filled out unspecified documents with her information for an unspecified amount between June 17 and June 23 at the westside Wal-Mart, 2450 N.W. Loop 338.
FRAUDULENT USE OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION
>> An Odessa woman reported someone used her ID between 11:57 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Monday from an unknown location.
>> A Pharr man reported at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday that someone used his Social Security number to gain employment.
THEFT
>> Avis Rent A Car, 719 N. Grant Ave., reported someone the business knew took $2,424.81 in cash between 1:55 p.m. June 15 and 8 a.m. June 24.
>> 7-Eleven, 3900 Andrews Highway, reported two people the business knew took $26,889.21 in cash between March 17 and May 10.
>> An Odessa man reported someone he knew took a watch and diamond bracelet worth a total of $12,800 from him between 8:15 p.m. Saturday and 12:30 a.m. Sunday in the unit block of Sapphire Street.
