BURGLARY OF A BUILDING

>> Someone at New Avenues, 1216 E. Eighth St., reported he confronted a man with a baseball bat that was trying to enter the business between 2:25 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. Thursday.

>> Lacks Clearance, 1909 Adams Ave., reported someone entered the business and caused $1,000 in damage to a glass door between 8 p.m. Wednesday and 2:53 a.m. Thursday.

 

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION

>> An Odessa woman reported someone entered her home and took a TV and laptop computer worth a total of $2,400 between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 3600 block of East 30th Street.

 

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF ON A CHURCH

>> The pastor at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, 1401 S. Dixie Blvd., reported someone turned on the gas inside the church and defaced the inside northern wall, causing $200 in damage between 2 p.m. Tuesday and 4 p.m. Wednesday.

 

DEBIT CARD ABUSE

>> An Odessa woman reported someone used her credit card on Tuesday over the phone from an unknown location.

 

FORGERY

>> An Odessa man reported someone made and signed a check in his name on May 19 at a Wal-Mart.

 

THEFT

>> A Houston man reported someone took $64,000 in cash from him on Nov. 3, 2008 at Bank of America, 700 N. Grant Ave.

 

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE

>> An Odessa man reported someone took his blue and white 2004 Suzuki GSXR750 motorcycle between 9 p.m. and midnight Monday in the 4900 block of East University Boulevard.
