The following is a list of felony criminal activities reported to the police.

Numbered addresses of locations where crimes occur are rounded to the nearest hundred block.

 

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT

>> An Odessa man reported someone he knew showed a weapon while assaulting him, scratching his neck at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 3100 block of North Dixie Boulevard.

 

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION

>> An Odessa man reported someone entered his uncle's home, caused $500 in damage to a door and took a jewelry box and two TVs worth a total of $3,150 between 9:30 p.m. Monday and 8:44 a.m. Tuesday in the 2700 block of North Alleghaney Avenue.

>> An Odessa man reported someone entered his home, caused $1,000 in damage to a glass sliding door and took a film camera, three gold necklaces and a gold necklace with a pennant worth a total of $2,350, in addition to an unknown amount of cash between 6:30 a.m. and 12:55 p.m. Tuesday in the 2800 block of Ventura Avenue.

>> An Odessa woman reported someone entered her home between 10 a.m. and 4:40 p.m. Tuesday in the 1400 block of West 19th Street.

 

DEBIT CARD ABUSE

>> A Midland man reported someone used his debit card between 1:37 a.m. June 16 and 2:09 a.m. June 17 at Whataburger, 3716 Andrews Highway.

>> An Odessa woman reported someone she knew used her debit card between June 10 and June 11 at Fuddruckers, 4101 E. 42nd St.

>> An Odessa woman reported someone used her debit card on Sunday at Fancy's, 2207 N. West County Road.

 

FORGERY

>> An Odessa man reported someone he knew signed a document using his name between March 25 and March 31 at My Community Federal Credit Union, 2103 N. Grandview Ave.

 

FRAUDULENT USE OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION

>> An Odessa woman reported someone she knew used her ID between April 16 and June 5 at Citibank, 618 N. Texas Ave.

 

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

>> Police reported someone they knew had cocaine at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of Beal Street. No arrests were made.

 

RETALIATION

>> An Odessa man reported someone he knew threatened him in retaliation for acting as witness in a legal proceeding at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday in the 5400 block of New Orleans Drive.

 

ROBBERY

>> A Midland woman reported someone assaulted her and took $150 in cash from her between 1:04 a.m. and 1:23 a.m. Wednesday in the 2600 block of Santa Cruz Lane.

 

THEFT

>> An Odessa woman reported someone took a platinum wedding ring, two sets of diamond earrings, a necklace and a video gaming system worth a total of $8,100 between June 18 and Friday in the 600 block of North Dotsy Avenue.

 

THEFT OF PROPERTY WORTH LESS THAN $1,500 WITH TWO OR MORE PRIOR CONVICTIONS

>> A 30-year-old Midland woman was arrested and charged with theft of property worth less than $1,500 with two or more prior convictions after Dillard's, 4101 E. 42nd St., reported she took clothing worth $59 from the store at 6:27 p.m. Tuesday. The clothing was recovered.

Naomie Tenaya Acosta, 4324 Cedar Spring Drive, was being held Wednesday at the Ector County Detention Center on bonds totaling $16,000.

 

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE

>> An Odessa man reported someone took his dark blue 1999 Ford Windstar worth $3,500 between 10 p.m. June 18 and 5 a.m. Friday at Westgate Motel, 1701 W. Second St.

>> An Azle man reported someone took his ivory 1990 Lincoln Continental worth $2,000 between February and April in the 200 block of Lotteman Drive.

>> A Lubbock woman reported someone took her light green 2004 Ford Taurus worth $5,000 between 7:15 a.m. and 7:25 a.m. Saturday at Walgreens, 2161 E. 42nd St.
