    The following is a list of felony criminal activities reported to the police.

    Numbered addresses of locations where crimes occur are rounded to the nearest hundred block.

     

    ATTEMPTED BURGLARY OF A HABITATION

    >> An Odessa man reported someone tried to kick in the front door to his home between 10:50 a.m. and 11 a.m. Tuesday int eh 1200 block of Wilshire Drive.

     

    BURGLARY OF A BUILDING

    >> An Odessa man reported someone entered his building and took a chainsaw, a weed trimmer, a mower and a tool box with assorted tools worth a total of $5,140 between noon May 28 and noon Tuesday in the 800 block of East 14th Street.

    >> A Midland man reported someone entered his storage building, damaged a door and door trim worth a total of $600, then took four rims and four tires worth a total of $1,500 at 11:40 a.m. Tuesday in the 1900 block of Shakespeare Road.

     

    BURGLARY OF A HABITATION

    >> An Odessa man reported someone entered his home and took a rifle, a .45 caliber pistol, a bracelet and $200 in cash worth a total of $2,450 between 10 a.m. May 17 and 11 p.m. May 22 in the unit block of Santa Barbara Court.

     

    CREDIT CARD ABUSE

    >> An Odessa man reported someone used his credit card between Feb. 27 and March 2 over the Internet from an unknown location.

     

    DEBIT CARD ABUSE

    >> A Big Spring woman reported someone used he debit card at 9:07 p.m. Sunday at 7-Eleven, 2700 N. Dixie Blvd.

     

    FORGERY

    >> An Odessa man reported someone used his bank account information on May 21 at the eastside Wal-Mart, 4210 N. JBS Parkway.

     

    FRAUDULENT USE OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION

    >> An Odessa man reported someone used his ID between Oct. 1, 2008 and Dec. 31, 2008 in Phoenix.

     

    THEFT

    >> An Iraan man reported someone took $2,125 in cash from him at 12:06 p.m. Tuesday at Kirsh Carwash, 3751 Andrews Highway.

    >> An Odessa man reported someone he knew took his laptop computer, wireless router, bag and 400 CDs worth a total of $1,509 from him between 11:30 p.m. May 17 and 10:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of Fitch Avenue.

     

    UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE

    >> An Odessa man reported someone took his gray 1991 Cadillac Fleetwood worth $1,750 between 6:30 p.m. Friday and 9:30 a.m. Monday at the intersection of East 35th Street and North Jackson Avenue.

    >> An Odessa woman reported someone took her dark blue and light blue 1987 Chevrolet El Camino worth $3,000 at 9:15 p.m. Monday in the 1000 block of Overton Avenue.
