C.O.P.S. training

Citizens wanting to lend a hand to the Midland Police Department can now do just that.

The MPD has scheduled a Citizens On Patrol training class from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. today and Thursday at the police department, 601 N. Loraine St.

The C.O.P.S. program teaches the public how to help catch criminals.

There is no cost, however, you must complete and submit an application for the program to attend.
