ECISD board meeting
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Ector County Independent School District trustees are scheduled to review a possible plan Tuesday requesting that the Texas Education Agency exempt some of its lower attendance days this year from its funding formula.

Such waivers can be requested for days in which students were missing due to issues related to weather, health or safety.
In other business, the board is scheduled to examine and consider the approval of the members of this year’s School Health Advisory Council, which is a group of community members who advise the board and ECISD administrators about issues pertaining to student health.
Another item on the agenda calls for the board to review and reauthorize its group medical plan committee.
