Canvassing results

Odessa College trustees unanimously approved the canvassing of the results from the one contested race from the May 10 elections.
Incumbent J.E. "Coach" Pressly secured his Place 4 seat May 10 when he beat challenger Roy Hunton with 240 votes over Hunton's 151 votes.
Incumbents Gary Johnson, who serves in Place 7, and Place 5 trustee Ray Ann Zant also held onto their seats on the board, but neither of their races were contested on May 10.
All three trustees will be sworn in May 27 during the regularly scheduled board meeting.
