FORT STOCKTON Agents from the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives raided a tattoo parlor in Fort Stockton Tuesday, suspecting a federal firearms violation there, according to a spokesman from the bureau's Dallas Division office.

Special agent Tom Crowley, the public information officer for the ATF division that covers most of the Permian Basin, said the ATF was working on two related search warrants in Fort Stockton, which included the raid on the House of Ink tattoo parlor, 407 W. Dickinson Blve., as well as a private residence there.

Crowley would not state the specific violation they are accusing the House of Ink tattoo parlor of committing. He also said he was "not at liberty" to provide the residence's address.

"We're still investigating the whole situation; we're just being cautious right now," Crowley said.

No charges were filed following the raid.
