AGGRAVATED ROBBERY

>> An Odessa woman reported someone she knew pointed a gun at her and took an undisclosed amount of money between 4 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. Thursday in the 4100 block of Tanglewood Lane.

 

BURGLARY OF A BUILDING

>> An Odessa man reported someone broke a $5 padlock on a storage shed, then entered the shed and took a lawn mower worth $290 between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of East 17th Street.

>> Jim Reeves Insurance, 2143 E. Eighth St., reported someone smashed a front door worth $400, then entered the building and took an undetermined amount of cash between 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.

>> A Fort Worth man reported someone entered an apartment he owned and took an air compressor, a painter rig, a jig saw and two electric cords worth $650 between 9 p.m. Oct. 17 and 3 a.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of Fitch Avenue.

>> Texas Tech's WIC office, 835 Tower Drive No. 34, reported someone entered its Odessa WIC office and ransacked it, causing $530 in damage to a window, cabinet, picture frame, figurine and two clocks between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 7:15 a.m. Wednesday.

 

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION

>> An Odessa man reported someone entered his home, damaged a safe worth $225 and took a vial of estrogen and blank checks worth $15 between 9 a.m. Sept. 29 and 7 p.m. Tuesday in the 2200 block of Rocky Lane Road.

>> An Odessa woman reported someone entered her home and took a TV worth $1,000 between noon and 7:20 p.m. Wednesday in the 2700 block of Eisenhower Road.

>> An Odessa man reported someone entered his home and took a laptop computer, two speakers, a CD player, an amplifier and a video game system worth $2,500 between 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 3000 block of Park Boulevard.

 

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE

>> Odessa-based Free Restoration Services reported someone broke into a black 1998 Ford F-350 belonging to the business and took two rotary tools, a commercial vacuum cleaner and a tool box with assorted tools worth $3,600 between 12:50 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 2200 block of East Eighth Street.

 

FORGERY

>> Scrapbooks and Such, 3635 N. Dixie Blvd., reported someone passed counterfeit money orders between 6:57 p.m. Oct. 3 and sometime Oct. 16.

 

POSSESSION OF COCAINE

>> An Odessa police officer reported someone threw a bag containing cocaine to the ground and fled from him on foot at 2:40 p.m. Monday in the 900 block of Snyder Street. The suspect was not caught.

>> A 28-year-old Andrews man and a 29-year-old Odessa man were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance between 12:15 a.m. and 12:20 a.m. Wednesday at La Playa, 2101 E. Eighth St.

Dante Valenzuela, 1560 S.E. 101 in Andrews, posted a $15,000 bond Thursday.

Francisco Javier Rosales, 2201 Westwood Drive, was being held at the Ector County Detention Center, but his bond information was not available Thursday due to a computer malfunction at the jail.

 

THEFT

>> Gayle Hirsch Realtors, 4501 E. 51st St., reported someone took a total of $4,475 in checks and cash at noon Feb. 12 and Feb. 26.

 

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE

>> An Odessa woman reported someone took her red 2000 Suzuki Swift worth $2,000 between 7:25 p.m. and 7:35 p.m. Wednesday from a Pizza Hut parking lot at 2113 Andrews Highway.
