ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS
Blanton
- Daily: 7:45 a.m., Blanton news team presented by Jami Roberts’ third-grade class; canned food drive for West Texas Food Bank continues.
- Friday: Last day for canned food drive; Blanton spirit day. Wear blue and orange.
Burleson
- Daily: 7:30 a.m., pledges, birthday and morning announcements in the cafeteria for all student and faculty members.
- Wednesday: Fundraiser is coming in.
- Thursday: 7:30 a.m., Carrie Bronaugh, Permian Basin Regional Council on alcohol and drug abuse, will be here to speak to the students on the dangers of tobacco abuse; Burleson Elementary “Ties Away All Tobacco Products!,” students and faculty members wear a tie to school.
