Numbered addresses of locations where crimes occur are rounded to the nearest hundred block.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT

>> An Odessa man reported someone assaulted him by displaying a firearm at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the 1000 block of East Murphy Street.

>> An Odessa woman reported someone scratched her on the left arm between 1:40 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. Sunday in the 1600 block of West 10th Street.

>> An Odessa man reported someone busted his bottom lip and cut his pinkie finger and put a knot above his left eye between 2:15 p.m. and 2:23 p.m. Friday in the 1300 block of East Seventh Street.

 AGGRAVATED ROBBERY

>> An Odessa woman reported someone entered the Phillips 66 store, 3838 Andrews Highway, and demanded money while another person held a firearm at 9:45 p.m. Friday.

>> An Odessa man reported someone stole a hat worth $20 while threatening bodily injury with a deadly weapon at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Woodson Park, 1000 E. Murphy St.

BURGLARY OF A BUILDING

>> 7-Eleven, 3900 Tanglewood Lane, reported someone entered the store causing $350 in damages to a glass window and taking beer and cigars worth a total $133.60 between 3:20 a.m. and 3:23 a.m. Saturday.

>> An Odessa man reported someone entered his property and took an air compressor, drill set, tool set, wrench and a drill index worth a total $885 between 10:45 p.m. and 11:19 p.m. Friday from the 1200 block of East 12th Street.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION

>> An Odessa woman reported someone caused $300 in damages to her doorframe at 3:57 p.m. Saturday in the 3000 block of Beechwood Street.

CREDIT CARD ABUSE

>> An Odessa woman reported someone charged purchases to her credit card Tuesday in the 1500 block of Alpine Street.

 

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

>> An Odessa man reported someone caused damages totaling $1,530 to vehicle and residence windows between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and noon Thursday in the 1000 block of West 23rd Street.

 

DELIVERY OF COCAINE

>> A 34-year-old Odessa woman was arrested and charged with delivery of cocaine between 11 a.m. and 11:38 a.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of Carver Avenue.

Kalynn Homfelo, 230 Carver Ave., is being help Monday at the Ector County Detention Center on a $7,500 bond.

 

FORGERY

>> An Odessa woman reported someone stole checks from her account and has been writing checks for items between September 2006 and Jan. 14.

 

POSSESSION OF COCAINE

>> A 26-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine at 5:50 p.m. Tuesday at Albertson's, 1350 E. Eighth St.

Justin Bell, 1139 Drury Lane, was released Thursday from the Ector County Detention Center on a $7,500 bond.

>> A 51-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Fifth Street and Lettie Lee Avenue.

Kelly Amos, 1017 E. Fifth St., was released from the Ector County Detention Center Wednesday on a $7,500 bond.

>>A 51-year-old Odessa woman was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine at 11:18 a.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of Carver Avenue.

Rita Herring, 323 Patterson Ave., is being held Monday at the Ector County Detention Center on a $7,500 bond.

>> A 41-year-old Odessa woman was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine at 3:25 p.m. Jan 19 in the 100 block of West Second Street.

Cynthia McGruder, 222 N. Dixie Blvd., is being held Monday at the Ector County Detention Center on bonds totaling $15,000.

>> A 17-year-old Crane woman was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine at 3:35 a.m. Saturday in the 4800 block of East University.

Brittaney Huertas, 308 Dorthea St., was released Saturday from the Ector County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond.

 

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

>> A 32-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance at 1:08 a.m. Saturday at La Playa, 2101 E. Eighth St.

Aarelio Leyva, 716 S. Lee Ave., is being held Monday at the Ector County Detention center on a $7,500 bond.

>> A 28-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance at 12:44 a.m. Monday in the 600 block of North Grandview.

Luis Arzate, 3427 W. 57th St., is being held Monday at the Ector County Detention Center on a $15,000 bond.

 

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE IN A CORRECTIONAL FACILITY

>> A 19-year-old Kermit man was charged with possession of a controlled substance in a correctional facility at 11:45 p.m. Sunday while at the Ector County Detention Center, 2500 S. Highway 385.

Saul Lujan Jr, 235 Bert St., was being held Monday at the Ector County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond.

 

THEFT

>> An Odessa man reported someone stole a tailgate worth $1,500 off his maroon 2006 Ford F-150 between 7:30 p.m. Thursday and 8:30 p.m. Friday from the 800 block of East Eighth Street.

 

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE

>> A Midland woman reported someone took her blue and gray primer 1996 Chevrolet Beretta worth $3,000 while her son was using it between midnight Wednesday and 2 a.m. Thursday from Club Tequila, 2111 E. Eighth St.
